All the heart eyes for this engagement session.
Reno has been a little insane with the weather these past couple weeks. We've had more snow in the last two weeks on the valley floor than the last the last three winters we've been here. It's been a little crazy with the move (this will be next on the blog) - so between the weather and moving, I had kind of taken January off. Needless to say, I was getting restless and needed to shoot. So when Kelly contacted me about needing her engagement photos done, I didn't hesitate to jump on the opportunity.
Kelly wanted formal in downtown Reno - which I absolutely loved the idea of. When she showed up in a cold sequence dress - even better! Jason and Kelly were a riot to photograph. It was non-stop laughter from start to finish. We battled the sun peaking in and out of the clouds, temperatures feeling like they dropped at least 5 degrees in a matter of minutes, and sideways snow. It was a good time.
We visited several spots in downtown Reno including the gorgeous old First United Methodist Church, the Washoe County Courthouse with it's beautiful pillars, the Truckee River, and the historical Pioneer Center. Seriously couldn't have had a better set of spots to photograph this beautiful couple.
Thank you Jason and Kelly for coming out into the cold and trusting me in capturing you guys!
