It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged a wedding! Joey and Kim’s wedding is the perfect one to put up here - so here it is! Enjoy!
This Reno summertime wedding was perfect in all aspects. The venue, Galena Fish Hatchery, is always an amazing location to shoot at. It’s nestled in the Galena Creek Park and surrounded by gorgeous trees and the light in the evening is ahhhh-mazing! For months, Kim had been talking about wanting a smoke bomb for photos, and we made it happen (without getting in trouble with the rangers). It was stunning and perfect in every way.
Okay - lets talk about Kim’s dress. Holy moly was it amazing and stunning! It was perfect for her and she looked like a goddess. I loved that her bridesmaids’ dresses were a similar cut, and again were absolutely perfect. The color of the dresses complimented the venue and backdrop perfectly. Lets not forget about the guys! Joey’s blue suit was perfect (FYI - blue suits are my new favorites to photograph for weddings).
Lets talk about the food…
That’s all that needs to be said about the food. Seriously the best churros I’ve ever had. I’m ruined - I want fresh churros all day every day - thanks a lot Kim!
So yeah, the wedding was perfect. It’s one of my favorites to date and I cannot wait for them to see their gallery! Thank you Joey and Kim for trusting me to capture your day. It was amazing and I am so honored to be “stuck” with you guys!
P.S. Joey wins 1st place for the “seeing his bride walk down the isle” emotions. Best. Ever.
