Happy Pride Month!
This is perfect timing for Roza and Jessica’s blog of their wedding last month at the Cottonwood Cottage in Genoa, NV. What a gorgeous May day we had! It was the perfect Spring weather for a wedding. I had never been to the Cottonwood Cottage, but man it’s the cutest little venue. It was green and vibrant with Spring. Jessica and Roza’s touch of flowers throughout their center pieces and lining their aisle was perfect for the setting.
They had a Buddhist ceremony and with that had the traditional tea ceremony with their families joining them at the alter. Their ceremony was done by Rev. Matthew Fisher and Rev. Shelly Fisher from the Reno Buddhist Center.
Thank you Jessica and Roza for trusting me to capture your day! It was an amazing wonderful day, and I cannot wait to see your new chapter of life unfold! Wishing you many many years of happiness and love!
Side Note: When Jessica and Roza were looking for a wedding photographer, they had a such a difficult time finding someone who had it on their website that they are same sex couple friendly. Meggin Linquist Photography is a LGBTQ+ friendly photographer. Your day is just as special as everyone’s day, and it should be captured in all the beauty that it is!
